Please find attached the documents that Neal Anderson{previous owner} sold me the Passat.It was paid for "IN CASH"{see receipt thereof attached}and copies of both our ID's. Before I paid for the car I asked Neal if the car is in his name so he said no, but he is going to register the car and have it put in his name.Of which he did but failed to take the car for roadworthy to obtain a new license disc under his name. So now been the honourable citizen and wanting to do things the legal way.I then took the vehicle for the roadworthy test at AVTS Culumborg in town only to find it failed the test. In order to get the car put in my name I need to fix the faults of which I don't have the cash to do so {I have quotes for the job from Autoworks in Woodstock}I bought the car with the understanding from Neal that it was in outstanding order and had no problems yet the roadworthy proved otherwise.Thus I am seeking your advice in this regard to sell it and try and recoup either the R53.000 or nearest cash offer.We did serve Neal with papers from the attorneys demanding a full refund but he refuses to budge.This process can take up to 1 year and a lot of money to try and get him to refund me of which I don't have the luxury of either thus trying to sell the car this way.Just to let you know that at the roadworthy test it was ascertained that the vehicle was in a front end accident and was fixed up.
