Land Rover, Range Rover
Description of mechanical issue: They replaced The Cooling Thermostat with Temp Sender. But learned afterwards that the engine builds up pressure into the cooling system. That makes the car unreliable for long distance driving. It is compressed gas (air-fuel mix or exhaust gas) which is pressed into the cooling system. It builds up during longer drives bit-by-bit. At diesel engines it is mostly caused by a micro crack in the cylinder or cylinder head. Caused by overheating over a longer period of time. We also noticed that the temp gauge stays in the middle (horizontal) even when the coolant level is very low. - Table View
